Homecoming – Bringing Camp NexGen™ Back to Our Roots

Back at it again for another unforgettable camp, Camp NexGen™ 2025 in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, brought together 150 young campers for a transformative SPORT x STEAM experience. This year’s camp was extra special as it featured a son and daughter of Akwa Ibom as lead Co-hosts. Exceeding expectations, and challenging campers to pursue both athletic and academic dreams with much confidence and vigor, Camp NexGen™ continues to shape the next generation.

I Am Black Excellence - A SPORTxSTEM Camp Recap

In December 2019, LGRRG teamed up with Gear ‘Em Up and Global Air Drone Academy for a 2-day SPORT x STEM Camp in Lagos, Nigeria. Together we hosted 50 targeted adolescent boys and girls, to engage in sports development, self-empowerment sessions, and a drone building and racing activity. We hope to expose the campers to the joy and opportunity that athletics and STEM subjects bring. The participating campers are from neighboring towns and villages of Lagos, Nigeria.
